The Voice of Rugby’s study now at Murrayfield
The organised chaos of Bill’s study has moved to Murrayfield! Having been meticulously recreated at Hawick Museum for The Centenary Exhibition, the study is now on display at the home of Scottish rugby.
Bill was famous for his incredible commentary preparation and you can now get a glimpse of how he pulled that together from his vast array of books, newspaper articles, videos etc. to make sure he could assemble the most detailed and entertaining raft of information to share with listeners and viewers of the games he called. You may see no rhyme or reason to the stacks around his desk, but he knew exactly where everything was!
As Bill’s daughter Linda Lawson describes it, '“It’s a guddle!”, and it’s a great addition to the already fantastic tour of Murrayfield.
