All Blacks legend Andrew Mehrtens provided us with some rugby yarns and insight, led by Bill's grandson, former Scotland captain and our MC, Rory Lawson. We had fantastic musical entertainment from the incredible Jess Robinson who got not only the napkins waving but a well deserved standing ovation, whilst Prestonfield House delivered a beautiful setting and delicious food and drink to wet the whistles!

The afternoon's primary focus was of course to raise significant funds to be shared equally between the two charities. From generous donations and support on the day, we raised over £65,000 to help continue the efforts of The Bill McLaren Foundation in Scotland and beyond, and to support Boroughmuir Rugby and Community Sports Club’s valuable contribution to their community in and around Edinburgh.
